St. Louis Shock Dominates Weekend at Major League Pickleball Event in Kansas City

The Major League Pickleball action was in full swing this past weekend in Overland Park, Kansas, as the St. Louis Shock’s Kate Fahey and Anna Bright led their team to an undefeated weekend. The competition was fierce, with five of the top six MLP teams battling it out on the courts.

The Premier League saw some intense matchups, with St. Louis edging out Dallas in a thrilling 21-19 DreamBreaker. Texas continued their winning streak, while DC exposed AZ with a dominant performance. The standings in the Premier League are starting to take shape, with St. Louis, Dallas, and Texas leading the pack.

In the Challenger League, SoCal had a perfect 4-0 weekend, moving up in the standings and putting themselves in contention for the playoffs. Chicago also had a strong showing, climbing from dead last to grabbing the last playoff spot.

Player standings and stats were also a highlight of the weekend, with Anna Bright and Connor Garnett shining in the Premier League, while Megan Fudge led the way in the Challenger League.

Looking ahead, the MLP pros will stay in Kansas City for the Selkirk PPA Kansas City Open next weekend. Fans can also look forward to Picklecon in Kansas City, one of the premier conferences in the sport.
