They have a jam-packed schedule of events for the last weekend of July, including two special tournaments and a variety of free activities for the whole family to enjoy.

First up, on Saturday, July 27, there will be a round-robin pickleball tournament at the city’s courts next to the police station. Mixed doubles will be organized into three skill levels, with the top three teams in each category receiving place medals. This is a great opportunity to show off your pickleball skills and compete against other players in the community. Make sure to register online at tvrpd.org to secure your spot in the tournament.

On Sunday, July 28, head over to West Park for a cornhole tournament. With three age groups to choose from, there’s a division for everyone to participate in. The winning teams will receive a “Shop Local” gift card valued at $200, so bring your A-game and compete for the top prize. Don’t forget to register online at tvrpd.org to reserve your spot in the tournament.

In addition to these special events, TVRPD is offering a variety of free activities throughout the month of July. From free family dodgeball nights to Movies in the Park and stargazing with the Bear Valley Springs Astronomy Club, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Take advantage of free entry and launch at Brite Lake for kayaking, or join in on a community 5K walk/run on the Freedom Trail in Golden Hills.
